The famous "Snail" house in the capital's Simeonovo district, for which SAAV OOD manufactured and installed the joinery, garage doors and blinds, was ranked among the most extravagant buildings in the world. In the world architecture ranking, the "Snail" house ranked alongside the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, displacing the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and the National Stadium in Beijing.
Having become an architectural landmark of the capital, the "Snail" house is eight times more energy efficient than any renovated building.
Engineer Simeon Simeonov plans to build other energy-saving fairy-tale buildings in the shape of a giant turtle and a dinosaur, so that the "Snail" house, unique in its construction, is not the only one in the shape of an animal.
