The new powder coating production line of SAAV Ltd. has been operating since early October 2010.

Made according to the latest standards, the installation is equipped with wash-tubs for preparation and degreasing of dyed materials; a drying unit; a chamber for electrostatic coating and a furnace for polymerization of the coating.

The degreasing and preparation tubs are used in the following order. The tub containing a hot solution for degreasing and phosphate treatment comes first in the sequence. This is followed by the warm flushing box and then the cold flushing box. The drying unit is the final step.

The chamber for the application of the electrostatic coating is provided with a perfect aspiration system and captures even the smallest particles of residual polymer, separating it into special containers.

The polymerization chamber allows for processing of materials of up to 6m in length and has a remarkable efficiency. W/H/L – 580/1550/6400.

Natural gas is used as a source of energy for the production which is not only environmentally friendly but also has a significant contribution to the low prime cost of the entire process.

The new powder coating installation has a capacity for dyeing galvanized steel surfaces and also for dyeing of aluminum profiles and materials.

The installation capacity is up to 250 sq.m. per shift.
